Dominik Carević, born in 1998 in Zagreb, Croatia. Started playing guitar at the age of 11 at the Music School Ivan Zajc with prof. Hrvoje Ton and immediately showed a distinct talent for music. He continued his education at the Art School Fortunat Pintarić in Koprivnica with prof. Antonio Rumenović where he completed three years of high school and enrolled in University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz (Austria) in the class of prof. Paolo Pegoraro.
He has won more than 20 awards at various national and international competitions, among which the most important are: 1st place in the category with no age limit on the International Guitar Competition Bale- Valle 2016., 1st place in the European Classical Guitar Competition “Enrico Mercatali” 2016 Gorizia (Italy), 1st place at the International Guitar Festival Rust 2017 (Austria), 1st prize at the International Competition Porecki Tirando 2016, 1st place in category no age limit on the International Tremolo Guitar Fest 2016 Skopje (Macedonia), 1st prize at the Omiš Guitar Fest˝2014. , 1st place at the Zagreb Guitar Festival 2016, 1st place in the European Classical Guitar Competition “Enrico Mercatali” 2013 Gorizia (Italy), 2nd place on Guitar Art Festival˝2016. Belgrade (Serbia), a special prize at the International Competition for Young Guitarists Andrés Segovia˝2014. 3rd place at the International Competition Rago 2016 Stuttgart (Germany), 3rd place at the International Competition for Young Guitarists Andrés Segovia˝2016. Monheim am Rhein (Germany) and many other awards.
Regularly works with renowned professors such as: Łukasz Kuropaczewski, Hubert Kappel, Carlo Marchione, Zoran Dukić,Lorenzo Michelli, Marcin Dylla, Petrit Çeku, Martin Mysliveček,Brian Head, Margarita Escarpa, Jorgos Panetsos and many others.
Vedran Vujica was born in Zenica in 1993 (BiH), where he finished elementary and secondary music school in the class of professor Lejla Ekinović and Igor Mijatović. He graduated in 2016 at the Music academy in Sarajevo in the class of professor Đani Šehu.
During his studies, he participated in many state and international competitions (BiH, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy) where he recived numerous awards. He is a member of the Sarajevo Guitar Quartet, with which he performed a series of concerts. The Quartet has also performed at three international competitions where they won two first places and one third, and a special prize at the Federal competition. Famous Spanish guitar maker Manuel Contreras generously loaned his guitar to Vedran for EuroStrings tour.
