Helin Hallik is a young Estonian guitarist. She started her musical studies at the age of 7 at Tallinn Music High School where she chose guitar as her instrument. She has given many concerts, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. She has taken part in masterclasses by skilful guitarist such as, Goran Krivokapic, Stephan Schmidt, Tomasz Radziszewski, Dale Kavanagh and Gabriel Bianco. She has recieved prizes at guitar competitions, both national and international. Most recognized of them are – 1st place at the Tallinn Guitar Competition, 3rd place at a national competition „Best Young Instrumentalist“ and 3rd place at the Baltic Guitar Festival in Birstonas (2018 and 2019). In 2020 she was chosen to take part in a national television competition “The Stars of Classical Music“ where for 8 weeks she had the chance to play and compete with various musicians in Estonia, including the Grammy Award-winning Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.
